The 2024 Kentucky 811 Damage Prevention summit was wildly successful! Damage prevention professionals traveled from all over the country to join us at Embassy Suites Lexington for three days focused on industry updates, safety education, and networking. Attendees could be found exploring the Exhibitor Hall, experiencing hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology, creating connections with other 811 professionals, and attending educational sessions on the industry’s biggest topics. It wouldn’t be a Kentucky event without a little extra fun, so they also enjoyed live music and exciting prize giveaways!
In response to the great interest taken in our legislative-focused sessions, Kentucky 811 invites anyone interested in joining a coalition that examines the state’s dig law, potential mandatory membership, and other law changes to email Ms. Jamie Gaddis at .
Immediately following the event, Kentucky 811 partnered with One Call Concepts (OCC) to host a Software Summit, during which attendees could learn about KY811’s software tools – ITICnxt and Locator Tickets – and become more efficient with their online ticket submission and management skills. The event began with a free lunch and large-group demonstration, and then was followed by individual training where attendees got to explore the software and ask our experts questions.
